The National Society Of Film Critics apparently speak the truth, once every twelve months. 2011 Indiana Film Journalists Association Award Winners

Yep. Sorry, more Awards to discuss. This time it’s the IFJA and they’ve decided to mix things up a little by drawing attention to Ralph Fiennes in the Best Actor category. I’m also liking the inclusion of Viola Davis as Best Supporting here, as I never fully understood why she’s being pushed towards the Best Actress category. 2011 Detroit Film Critics Society Award Nominations

Best Director nods for both Drive and Take Shelter? This is my kind of Society!! It’s all pretty straight forward, but Detroit obviously love Gosling as they’ve given him recognition in the Best Supporting category for Crazy, Stupid, Love, bizarrely. It’s also interesting how it’s Felicity Jones and not Elizabeth Olsen who is included in both Best Breakthrough and Best Actress, but I’m expecting the love for Olsen to grow come January.
